Microsoft Excel, the spreadsheet app, lets you create, view, edit, and share your files quickly and easily. Manage spreadsheets, tables and workbooks attached to email messages from your phone with this powerful productivity app. Work in data analysis, accounting, auditing, or other fields confid.
- Microsoft Excel is one of the most popular applications from Microsoft Office. With the advent and popularity of Mac, Microsoft Excel for Mac was introduced to help manage, analyze and organize data as well as other Microsoft Excel information.
- Excel for Mac does not support PowerPivot and Pivot Charts. Any pivot table having source data based on the Excel Data Model will be unfilterable if the spreadsheet is opened by a MAC user. Pivot Charts are not interactive on Mac and don’t change simultaneously with their source Pivot Table. Instead, they remain static screenshot-like graphs.
- Macro limits: Prior to Office 2016, you could build macros in Excel for Mac. The 2016 edition offers what Microsoft calls a 'simplified' Visual Basic Editor (VBE), which allows you to debug.
